Dorothy Vandekieft, LLMSW, is a clinical social worker who brings warmth, curiosity, and a steady presence to her work. Her first career as a high school teacher shaped her belief in meeting people where they are and supporting growth through attunement, structure, and compassion. Dorothy’s approach blends humanistic, psychodynamic, attachment-based, and strengths-focused perspectives, with an emphasis on helping clients build self-worth, self-compassion, and confidence in their own internal resources.

She also has experience in inpatient psychiatric care with older adults, helping clients through acute stressors, loss, and major life transitions.
